Pink Fredrick Anderson, 77, of Goodlettsville, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Born November 4, 1947, in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Gilbert Houston Anderson and Annie Bell Clemmons Anderson.
Pink began his educational journey at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he not only laid the academic foundation for his future but also developed a lifelong passion for supporting UT athletics. He carried this enthusiasm throughout his life, becoming a steadfast supporter of his alma mater.
A man of remarkable integrity and stoic presence, Pink enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Diversion Investigator for the federal government, where he was respected for his commitment to excellence and fairness. He treated everyone equally, embodying a strong work ethic that inspired those around him. His military service in the United States Army further underscored his dedication to serving his country with honor.
Pink’s greatest joy was found in his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Robbie Anderson; children, Darin Anderson and Andrea Anderson; stepchildren Amanda (Scott) Gillihan and Perry Wooters; grandchildren Austin (Sarah Schapel) Anderson, Autumn (Logan) Anderson-Wells, Dominique Lee, Brittney Lee, Alexis Lee, and Chloe Martin; step grandchildren Lauren Gillihan, Lindsey Gillihan, and Jeri Lynn (David) King. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Liam Wells, Riley Anderson, Aubrey Anderson, and step great-grandfather to Casey King. Last, but certainly not least, he leaves behind his faithful companions Snowy (his favorite) and Shila.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Glenda Anderson.
Pink F. Anderson will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but for the love and care he extended to his family and friends. His profound impact on their lives will be cherished forever, as they hold dear the memories of a remarkable man who exemplified the true meaning of family and dedication.
