PICKNEY, Patricia Mary PATSY - Age 88 of Nash. Tn. joined Our Lord Dec .12, 2010. Preceded by her husband of 64 years Fred Pickney; brothers, John Gilmore Mary Ann Joe Gilmore Margaret Rusty Gilmore Rachel and Tommy Gilmore sister, Rose Mary Neuhoff George survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Patsy graduated from Cathedral High School in 1939 and then went on to Peabody College. She worked with USO during World War Two. She was a volunteer at Ladies of Charity and Loaves and Fishes for many years. She was also, very involved in the Cursillo Movement in Nashville. She was very active with voluntary church work at The Cathedral of the Incarnation. She officially discovered the name for Camp Marymount many years ago. Funeral Mass will be 10am Thursday December 16th at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 535 Sneed Road West Father Mark Beckman Celebrant. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews. Visitation will be 6pm - 8pm Wednesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A special thanks to all the good people at the Meadows Nursing Home for a job well done over the years. Also thanks to Dennis from Odyssey Health Service for his loyalty.
