McCool, Patricia "Pat" Elizabeth O'Connor, daughter of Ovie Earl Fuller and Susie Short, was born July 12, 1926 in Gross, Kansas. She passed away March 27, 2008.
Preceded in death by sister, Roxianna Fuller, and son, John Wayne McCool. Survived by husband of 65 years, Estle "Mac" McCool; children, Diane McCool Gober Gary, Linda McCool Cox Billy, Joyce McCool McKnight, Mary Jane McCool Neese Dale, Jean Marie McCool Taylor Earl and James Paul McCool Daphne; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers, Vernon Fuller Johnnie and Robert Wallace Fuller Betty Jean.
In the 64 years she resided in West Nashville, she touched countless lives through her community and church involvement –Sylvan Park Elementary and Cohn High School PTA's, Park Avenue Baptist, Calvary Baptist, Haywood Hills Baptist and West Cumberland Presbyterian, Girl Scouts, Civitan, voting precinct poll worker and numerous volunteer roles. She retired from Castners/Knott in Green Hills.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Pat McCool requests that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to your favorite charity. The family requests the donations be made in memory of Patricia E. O. McCool.
The memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Dr. Fred E.A. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 3:30 p.m. until service time at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME 6962 Charlotte Pike www.harpethhills.com 352-9400
