Patricia Diane Frakes, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Born December 10, 1937 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Farris and Martha (Brown) Coursey. She lived in East Nashville until moving to Goodlettsville in the late 1970's. For many years Diane worked as a Supervisor for Cutters Exchange which later became Singer. Most recently she had worked in the dental office of her brother-in-law, Dr. Grady Bryant. She possessed a strong sense of family and was a devoted grandmother. A true Christian woman, Diane had been an active participant of the First Baptist Church, Goodlettsville. She was a hard worker who did so in a quiet way and was also known to be extremely kind and dependable. Diane is survived by her children, Karen L. Thompson and her husband Stan, and Farris Scott Frakes; two grandchildren, Talon Coursey Bell and Caitlin Morgan Frakes; and her two sisters; Gayle Coursey Bryant and her husband Grady, and Carole Coursey Prendergast and her husband Larry; and nieces and nephews. Visitation for Diane will be held Sunday from noon to 2 PM followed by a Life Celebration Service at 2 PM. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
