MELVIN, Norma Craddock- Age 83, July 17, 2010. Born in Tampa, FL. Educated in Nashville Public Schools, she married Wendell Melvin February 4, 1947. A member of the Baptist Church, she held membership in Glenwood Baptist Church and presently Harpeth Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death were her parents Elmer Davis Craddock and Mary Belle Ransdell Craddock. Survivors are her husband of 63 years Wendell Melvin; sister Juanita Dixon; nephew Dr. John Holland Dixon, Jr. Jan: Great nephews, John David Dixon Stephanie McCallie, Dr. Adam Daniel Dixon Stephanie Little and their son, great-great-nephew, Levi Dixon; cousins: Michael Craddock, Wayne Craddock, Delois Gass, Joyce Hostettler, Louise Kinkade, Birmingham Al. Marlene Blake Lincoln Ca. Bill Craddock, El Cajon Ca. and their families; special sisters-in-law Juanita Wair and Georgia Melvin, Cumming Ga., their children, grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Dr. Richard "Ricky" Lee officiating. Burial will be Wednesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at 9 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Tuesday 12 noon until time of service.
