Noble Gammon

August 18, 1944 — November 1, 2024

Noble Gammon, born on August 18, 1944, in Ridgetop, Tennessee, departed this life on November 1, 2024. A dedicated pastor for over 40 years, Noble spent many of those years at Nashville First Assembly/Family Worship Center, where his unwavering commitment to his faith inspired countless members of the community.

Noble's educational journey led him to become an ordained minister from Berean Bible College, laying the foundation for a career marked by service, devotion, and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Known for his upbeat personality and jovial spirit, he never met a stranger and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A true jokester at heart, Noble reveled in sharing laughter and spreading joy through his generous nature and love for his family.

In his role as a father and grandfather, Noble's pride and joy were his grandchildren, who affectionately referred to him as "Pawpaw." His family was his greatest accomplishment, and he cherished every moment spent with them, including his nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The values of love and faith that he instilled in his family will carry on through generations.

Noble is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara Gammon; his sons, Laurel (Regina), Kenny (April), Dorris (Deanna), and Coy (Heather); his brother, Andrew (Jessie) Gammon; as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will miss his warmth and wisdom dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Maude Gammon, and eight siblings, who welcomed him with open arms.
