Nathaniel Hightower

HIGHTOWER, Nathaniel Thomas, II - of Goodlettsville, passed away on June 20, 2007, at age 87. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret H. Hightower; three sons, Thomas Hightower III, Augusta GA, David Hightower, Goodlettsville, TN and Steve W. Hightower, Old Hickory, TN; 4 grandchildren, Michelle Hightower, Meredith Hightower, Robin Hightower, and Thomas Hightower IV. Mr. Hightower was a Veteran of World War II. He served in the South Pacific as Sergeant Major in the Marine Corps. He retired from Metro Nashville Public Schools and served on Metro Nashville School Board for 16 years. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2007 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, 127 N. Main St., Goodlettsville. Lytle Thomas of Inner City Ministries will officiate. Interment will be 1 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 2 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
