Nancy Rizor

RIZOR, Nancy Lucile Patterson. Age 104, passed away March 10, 2008. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gotha Patterson; sons, Webb and Jume Rizor; and grandson, Christopher Rizor. Survived by sons, Lester Bebe Rizor, David Rizor; daughter-in-law, Sandra Frensley Rizor; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren. She was a member of Vine Street Christian Church where she was an honorary elder and President of Anne Williamson Bible Class; a charter member of Gen. Daniel Smith's Rock Castle Chapter of DAR, past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, past president of the Cumberland District UMW and the Civitan Club of Nashville, and also a member of the Scarritt College Student Aid Society and the Woman's Club of Nashville. She served as Assistant Librarian for the Disciples of Christ Historical Society. A memorial service will be held at Vine Street Christian Church on Saturday, March 29, at 2 pm. There will be visitation with the family after the service.
