Nancy Allen

ALLEN, Nancy WardAge 86 of Madison, TN, passed away June 7, 2012. Nancy grew up in Old Hickory, attending Dupont High School and Peabody College. She married Ray "Hotsy" Allen May 10, 1947. Upon settling in Goodlettsville, they raised two children, Lynn and Eddie. After living in Florida several years, Nancy returned to Goodlettsville where she was employed for the City as the Administrative Assistant. A loving mother, grandmother and friend, Nancy had a great love for music, enjoyed square dancing, gardening and was a prolific reader. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Henry Ward; brother, James Ward. Survived by her daughter, Lynn Schubert (Steven) Coughlin; son, Eddie (Peggy) Allen; grandchildren, Aaron, Adam and Alyse Allen; sister, Louise Brooks; brother, Goodloe Ward; sister-in-law, Lovie Waggoner; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
