Mildred Grubbs

GRUBBS, Mildred B., age 98 of Hendersonville, was born April 3, 1913 and passed away June 22, 2011. Mrs. Grubbs grew up in Wartrace, TN, and was a member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley B. Grubbs. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Lee Engles of Hendersonville; son, Geno Deborah Grubbs of Clarksville; grandchildren, Amy Scott Jackson, Bryan Grubbs and Charley Grubbs all of Clarksville; great-grandchildren, Victoria Jackson, Carter Jackson, Mary Bailey Grubbs and Thomas Grubbs also all of Clarksville. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 24th from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 25th from 10-11 a.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 25th at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. Charles "Skip" Armistead and Rev. Don Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Hendersonville Medical Center for their devoted care for Mrs. Grubbs.
