Mildred Louise Knight Bohn passed away April 23, 2022 at Life Care Center, Centerville, TN. Born March 3, 1935 in Buford, GA to Arizona Word Knight and Bonnie Clifton Knight, Sr. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charlie Branion Bohn; brother, J C Knight and sister, Vivian Knight Lowe. She was a devoted military wife for 24 years and was lovingly called “Nana” by her four grands and three great-grands. She started sewing when she was young and made many clothes and quilts for her family. While living in Okinawa, she took many sewing classes and even learned how to design patterns. Her biggest project was designing a man’s suit and making one for Charlie. Mildred loved attending every event of her children’s and grandchildren’s. Being the oldest girl of seven, she also took care of her siblings who referred to her as “other mama”. She enjoyed her church family at Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and especially being by her husband’s side. She will be dearly missed by her family, but they all take comfort in knowing she is with her beloved Charlie and her mind is now fully restored. She is survived by her daughter, Candy Gibson (Phillip); son, Charlie B. Bohn, II (Brenda); grandchildren, Robbie Gibson (Hunter), Holly Bogle (Clint), Casey Bohn and Kelly Bohn; great-grandchildren, Jace and Jeb Bogle, and Arthur Gibson; sister, Betty Price; sister-in-law, Maureen Knight; brothers, Jerry Knight, Bonnie Knight, Jr. (Elaine), Richard Knight (Carol) and a host of nieces and nephews. A committal service will be held at the chapel of Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery, Monday, May 9th at 10:00 AM.
