Michael Weinzimer, age 68 of Nashville, passed away on July 30, 2017 at his home.
He was born on July 3, 1949 to the late Leo and Violet Weinzimer in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was described as a loving soul. He went to college at Georgia Tech and then moved back to Nashville.
Mr. Weinzimer had many friends but some of his closet where his caregiver Trisha Jackson and her family and Captain and Mrs. Charlie Smith. He was a member of the Cleveland Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Raymond) Blase, brother, Nathan Weinzimer and their children; his uncle, Sam (Glenda) Tinnin and their children, grandchildren and great-grandchild who thought of him as an Uncle more than a cousin; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of devoted friends through the years.
A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Kurt Burger officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00pm until 2:45pm at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home 127 North Main Street Goodlettsville, TN 37072 615-859-5231.
