Michael Tibbs

TIBBS, Michael Wayne, age 40 of Cumming, GA and formerly of Nashville, TN, passed away August 9, 2009. Mr. Tibbs was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marvin Leon Tibbs, James Bruce, and William Armstrong; great-grandparents, Clark and Lizzie Armstrong, Wesley and Clara Burdette; uncle, Glenn Armstrong; aunt, Beverly Tibbs Bayers, and nephew, Eddie Bayers. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Tibbs; son, Jason Tibbs; parents, Gary and Brenda Bruce; sister Vanessa Bruce; brother, Gary Bruce, Jr.; grandmothers, Marie Tibbs Blythe and Hazel Armstrong; and several nieces, nephews, and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 13th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of West Harpeth Funeral Home with Gary Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Leiper's Fork Cemetery in Leiper's Fork, TN.
