Michael Bowles

Michael David Bowles, J.D., CLU, ChFC, age 54 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010. Mr. Bowles worked as a trust officer with Sun Trust Bank and prior to that with National Brokerage Co. A graduate of Belmont University and the University of Tennessee Law School, he was a member of the TN Bar Association and also President of Financial Consultants of TN. He was a member and greeter at Northeast Chapel in Hendersonville and an active member of Middle TN Tres Dias and Association of Life Underwriters. He is survived by his daughters, Emily Jean Bowles Morgan and Sarah Lou Bowles; parents, Edward Ray, Sr. and Evelyn Jean Pendergrass Bowles; sister, Deborah Jean Bowles Jeff Carney; and brothers, Edward Ray Margaret Bowles, Jr. and Mark Vicki Timothy Bowles. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM, Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Hendersonville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Sunday, April 18 and 5-8 PM on Monday, April 19 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Ray Bowles, Jr., Mark Timothy Bowles, Jeffery Lynn Carney, Sr., Darrell Hillis, Ross Robinson and Kim Pilkinson will serve as pallbearers.
