Maurice R. "Chris" Christiansen, a dedicated family man a respected professional, passed away in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Born May 27, 1933, in Berlin, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Chester John Christiansen and Alma Roberge Christiansen.

In his career, Chris excelled as an inspector of Tool & Dyes at Ford Glass before retiring after 32 years of service. However, it was not just his professional accomplishments that defined him. Chris was known for his innate ability to tackle any project - earning him the endearing title of the "Special Projects Guy" among his family and friends. Whether it was fixing a tractor or working on engine repairs, Chris's expertise as a professional piddler and willingness to help others made him indispensable to those around him.

Aside from his successful career, Chris proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His dedication to his military service reflected his strong sense of duty and patriotism.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Leo Paul Christiansen.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Jane Tanksley Christiansen; son, Johnny (Rhonda) Christiansen; caring daughter, Cynthia (Chris) Ellis; cherished grandchildren: John Ryan Christiansen, David Maurice (Mary Grace) Christiansen, Carson Christopher Ellis, Cameron Christian Ellis, Colby Christopher Ellis, Carlie Jane Ellis; adored great-granddaughter Hattie Claire Christiansen; sister-in-law Florence Christiansen; and niece Ann (Norman) Willis.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation scheduled at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Goodlettsville on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Graveside services will follow at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where military burial honors will be performed.

Maurice R. Christiansen will be deeply missed but always remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. May he rest in peace knowing he made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
