Survived by beloved husband, Melville Radcliffe Bennett; children, Carolyn Steve Tidwell, Van Liz McCormack, Ruth Derek Brough, Pauline Mark Collard; sister, Anna Beulah Jenkins; grandchildren, Van Dawn McCormack Jr., Karen Scott Johnson, Fletcher Jill Tidwell, Katherine Chuck Woodcock, Stephanie Tidwell, Peter Lindsay Brough, Luke Collard; great-grandchildren, Trent McCormack, Cooper, Brice and Tanner Johnson, Trey and Waller Woodcock, Bennett and Beau Tidwell, Megan and Lily Ruth Brough; many loving nieces and nephews.The family would also like to express their gratitude to caregivers Daisy Jones, Pam Hardison and Sharon Watson. The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 610 W. Old Hickory Blvd. Madison, TN 37115, with Pastor Thomas Vanderbilt officiating. The visitation will be prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:30 at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
