Mary Ann Petty of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away at her residence on November 8, 2016; she was 67 years of age. She was born February 5, 1949 in Rockland, Maine. Mary Ann fought a courageous battle with cancer, remaining strong throughout. She loved her family and her precious fur babies. She loved the outdoors, traveling and always enjoyed going to Las Vegas with her daughter Heidi. Mary Ann and Larry shared their life together with much love and admiration for each other.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving and devoted husband Larry Petty; daughter, Heidi Petty; son, Michael Petty; granddaughter, Hannah Petty; fur baby, Emmy Lou and grand fur baby Pek.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home. A time of gathering for family and friends will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. This will be a time of sharing the many good memories of Mary Ann and to honor the life she lived these 67 years. It will be a time of laughter and a time of tears, but mainly a time to celebration the fact that you were blessed to have known her. "To live on in the hearts of those you love is to never die." Mary Ann will live on in the hearts of many.
