Mary Ann Goodman Miller, known as Granny to family and friends, was born at Eagle Creek in Benton County, Tennessee. At the young age of 14, she met the love of her life, W. S. Miller and married three years later. This year is their 70th wedding anniversary. They enjoyed years of travel, neighborhood walks, friends at Madison Church of Christ, laughter, holding hands and family.
Granny loved beauty and found it in fireworks, sewing, serving others, shoes and every child. As in Philippians 4:8, she looked for whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy in everyone she met. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are grateful for her love and encouragement.
Mary Ann is survived by her spouse W.S. Miller; her sister Katherine Goodman Pritchard (Sam); her children Teresa Miller Killeen, Sam Miller (Stephanie),Sherie Miller White (Steve),April Miller White; her grandchildren, Keith Witt, Amber Witt Head, Kristen Bourne Pitt, Samantha Miller Baird, Hunter Miller, Leslie White Butler, Clayton White, Daniel White, Chad White, Candice White Mcfarland, Chase White; her great grandchildren, Grace and Ryan Witt, Isabella, Griffin and Taylor Head, Quinten Witt, Abbie and Austin Pitt, Miller and Jack Henry Baird, Ellie Grace and Lincoln Miller, Berkley, Carley and Hailey Butler, Kaden and Nora White, Dylan White, Lucy White, Zoey and Heidi May Mcfarland.
