Mary Mcgavock

McGAVOCK, Mary McComas, born July 10, 1916 in Lexington KY; passed away on June 25, 2006 peacefully surrounded by her family at the Residence at Alive Hospice. She is preceded in death by her brother Guy McComas. She is survived by her children: Mary E. McGavock Damon Beard, Jake Sumjee McGavock, Kevin Iva McGavock; grandchildren, Deirdre O'Connell, Sean O'Connell, Kellen McGavock, Emily Fannon; great-grandchildren Bella, J.J., Elsie, Junie, Sierra, Kaelin; sister, Peggy Ward Allen; sister-in-law, Jean McComas. Memorial service and Mass will be held at 2 PM Thursday June 29, 2006 at St. Andrew's Church on Woodmont Blvd. with visitation on Thursday 1 hour prior to the service. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Alive Hospice at 1710 Patterson St. 37203 with their wonderfully caring staff. Special thanks to her care partner there, Shanette, the nursing staff at Waterford Assisted Living, and her cardiologist at St. Thomas Dr. Thomas McRae, who showed the ultimate compassion.
