Mary Jane Huffines was born November 10, 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents Donald Manning Huffines and Aileen Tidwell Huffines. She passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 63 years of age.

Mary Jane was a Graduate of Lipscomb University 1975. She was honored to have been Pi Delta's Historian and President. The club members were the best friends a person could ever have. A special thank you to those who nominated Mary Jane to Who's Who in Universities and Colleges. It meant a great deal to Mary Jane to have been considered.

She was preceded in death by parents Donald Manning Huffines, Sr. and Aileen Tidwell Huffines; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Huffines and Mr. and Mrs. W. Doyle Tidwell, Sr. of Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

Mary Jane is survived by sister, Donna Seigenthaler, niece, Leslie Seigenthaler, sister, Cynthia (Philip) Schulert, brother, Donald (Barbara) Huffines, Jr., niece Christy Lee Huffines, great nephew, Dakota and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Donald M. Huffines, James David Newman, Bobby Dale Tidwell, Joel Rex Tidwell, Jerry M. Tidwell. Honorary pallbearers: Philip J. Schulert, Kenneth L. Farley, Rodger D. Crocker. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8 and Wednesday 12-1.
