Mary Ann Howard, age 70 of Goodlettsville passed away September 2, 2016. Mrs. Howard was born on March 31, 1946 in Davidson County to the late Ernest and Sally Thomason. She will be remembered for her big and generous heart; she loved her children and grandchildren, especially the babies. Mary Ann was an avid racing fan and enjoyed watching it wherever she could, always cheering for her number 1 driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her husband, Paul Howard; children, Donnie Franklin (Elizabeth), Dousey Franklin (Courtney), Penny Parks (Jason) and Crystal Enzler (Chris); 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, Gerrell Thomason (Pearl). A Life Celebration Service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 7th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Cole & Garrett in Goodlettsville. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery with Scott Creasy, Howard Thomason, Bobby Fox, Jason Parks, Chris Enzler and Adam Franklin serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 1-8 P.M. and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until service time.
