Mary Davis

DAVIS, Mary "Doris" – Age 72 of Lafayette, TN passed away July 25, 2013. Doris was born November 23, 1940 in Marksville, LA to the late Mr. Desolive Carmouche & Mrs. Eunice Vead Carmouche. Mrs. Davis was a fun loving woman that always made friends with whomever she met. She was a very caring and giving woman that enjoyed cooking, traveling, and most of all her family. Mrs. Davis was an employee for over 20 years at Precision Casting in Gallatin, TN. She was a kind woman, loving wife and mother that will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Euna Smith, Dallas Carmouche, Charlie Carmouche, Tina Vead & Ola Leath. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Vernon Oather Davis, Sr.; children, Terrance Davis, Jeffrey Davis Tammy, & Vernon Davis, Jr.; brother Donald Carmouche Betty. A Life Celebration will be held 2pm Tuesday at Crestview Funeral Home with Bro. David Spears officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
