Mary Davenport

DAVENPORT, Mary Jean, Age 80, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away Saturday January 27, 2007. Mrs. Davenport was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville and also served as Past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Robbye Stavley Sexton; a brother, Eldon Sexton; and a sister, Gladys McGee. Mrs. Davenport is survived by her daughter, Robbie Jean DeGeorge, two brothers, Eldridge Viola Sexton Kimberly, Cliff, Dawn, and Brittan and Elmer Mary Jo Sexton Denise, Diane, Andy, and Nancy; a sister, Ruth Morrow Donna, Karen, John, and Darryl; and a host of family including Leonard and Linda McGee, Kenny, Patricia, Makenzie, and Bobby; Mike and Gayle England, Russ and Mark; Bill and Michelle Luther, Trisha, Racheal, and Abbie; Thomas and Heidi Johnson, Olivia and Nathaniel; Judy, Linda, Shannon and Tracy, Lottie, Daniel, and best friend, Margie Malone. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Sunday, January 28, 2007, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Monday, January 29, 2007 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and from 12:00pm until the time of service on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Hinkle officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hendersonville Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Hendersonville Funeral Home.
