Carter, Mary Jane Dickerson Barnes, 87, passed from this life on Saturday, March 25th to go be with the Lord. Mrs. Carter is a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church. Beloved mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenwood Carter. Survived by children, Kyle Mary Barnes, Faye Joe DeGraffenreid, Mary Paul Brown; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006 at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Dan Locke and Pastor Terry Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to all the caregivers.
