Mary Bennett

Ms. Mary Bennett, age 94, passed away on September 20, 2022. She was born in Nashville TN to the late Austin and Ara Mai Webb. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bennett; and children, Paul York, Charles York, and Angel Bennett.

Mary loved spending time with her family and loved Jesus and church. She also enjoyed going junkin’, shopping at thrift shops. She loved flowers and angels, going to dinner with her family and watching crime shows.

Mary is survived  by her daughters, Cynthia Gidcomb and Patricia Gatlin; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A life celebration will be held at 12pm, Saturday, September 24th in the chapel of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Family receive friends from 10-12pm prior to the service. Burial will take place at Ever Rest Cemetery in Cheatham County.
