Mary Lou Beach

Mary Lou Lassiter Beach, 95, lived in Sumner County 95 years.  She passed away July 21, 2023 at White House Healthcare & Rehabilitation.  Born January 17, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Herman D. Lassiter & Eula Frances Jones Lassiter. 

She was also preceded in death by William Beach, her husband of 65 years.  Preceded in death by her sister Geraldine Lassiter Woodard.  She is survived by sister, Louise Wadkins Kerr, brothers, Jimmy Lassiter, Donnie Lassiter;  survived by sons, Joey (Genell) Beach, Mike (Kathy) Beach and Jimmy (Vickie) Beach; daughters Melissa (Mike) Jones and Janie (Stan) Johnson.

12 grandchildren       19 great grandchildren        5 great great grandchildren

She worked for the Sumner County Board of Education as a Teachers Aide for 17 years.

She taught piano lessons for many years. She was the editor of the City of Millersville newspaper for 6 1/2 years. She played at many Weddings and Funeral venues, was a member of the Millersville Assembly of God where she played the organ & piano for 30 years. 

She loved to travel and traveled to many countries.

She enjoyed reading, sudoku, puzzles and Frosty's.

She was a friend to all and will be missed by many.
