Mrs. Mary Jean Baxter, 86, of Hendersonville, passed away on March 20, 2017. She was born on April 1, 1930 to the late William and Joe Cato. She is also preceded in death by three brothers, William Craig Cato, Jr., Charles Albert Cato, and Standord Cato; one sister, Mildred Ruth Cato Sawyer; and husband of 63 years, Grafton D. Baxter, Sr.
Mrs. Baxter retired from the State of Tennessee in 1988. She was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ and loved all things family.
She is survived by her loving son, Dwane (Linda) Baxter, Jr., grandchildren, Michael (Rachael) Baxter, Connie (Lewis) Johnson, Jr., Bryan Baxter, Brittany (Justin), Smith, and Kyle (Chelsea) Meyer; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Addison, and Kamrynn Baxter, Ashley Brewer, Jade and Dallas Meyer, Gavin Beuhring, and Ryder and Easton Smith, and Chris Johnson.
