Mary Elizabeth Allen, age 87 of Springfield passed away May 23, 2015. Mrs. Allen was born on March 21, 1928 in White House, Tennessee to the late James Preston and Laura Edna Sliger Conley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm "Mac" Allen; children, Gordon Lee Waters, Victor Winston Waters, Mike Waters, Phillip Allen and Joyce Misch. She is survived by her son, Roger Waters; a brother, Dean Conley; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren. A Life Celebration service will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
