Martha Davis

DAVIS, Martha Louise Northern, age 76 of Gallatin passed away December 2, 2010. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, F. Merle Davis; parents, Byrd and Bernie Northern; and niece, Debra Bechman-Cooner. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Bechman of Hendersonville, and Pauline Harper of Mt. Juliet; brother, Edmund E.H. Northern of Lebanon; nephews, Gerald Bechman, William Harper, Melvin Harper, and Donnie Northern; and nieces, Linda Carl Melvin and Sue Ann Phil Bragg. Active pallbearers will be Gerald Bechman, William Harper, Melvin Harper, Donnie Northern, Carl Melvin and Phil Bragg. Funeral services will be conducted on December 4, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of First Baptist Church Gallatin with Pastor Larry Yarbrough officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M. Eastern Time in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Kingston, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sumner Hospice or First Baptist Church of Gallatin. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at Crestview Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30-10 A.M. at First Baptist of Gallatin.
