Marsha Blanton

Marsha Scarboro Blanton, age 55, of Hendersonville, TN passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Mrs. Blanton was a member of the Community Church in Hendersonville and also a member of the Arabian Horse Association. She was an avid horse-person and animal lover. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Albert Scarboro. She is survived by her husband, William R. Blanton; her mother, Johnie Helton Scarboro; her sister, Kathleen S. Robby Meadows; step-children, Tiffany and Amy Blanton; and a nephew, James Bevin Meadows. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, July 5, 2008 from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Doug Varnado officiating. She was a supporter of Home Safe 127 S. Water Ave., Gallatin, TN 37066 and the Sumner County Humane Society 16 Volunteer Dr., Hendersonville, TN 37075 and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to these organizations in her honor.
