Wilson, Marseille J. - of Ridgetop passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Mrs. Wilson was a retired Postmaster of Ridgetop, TN. She was a life-long member of Highland Chapel Union Church where she sang in the choir for more than 45 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the Ridgetop Historical Society, and an honorary member of the Ridgetop Police Department. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Kathryn Jones; husband, Charles D. Wilson, Jr.; sister, Ouida Martin. Mrs Wilson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Rudy Kalis; daughter, Penelope Wilson; son, Charles D. Wilson, III; grandchildren, Jennifer Kalis, Olivia Wilson and Leah Carter and husband, Bobby; great-grandchildren, Cade and Dane Carter. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 p.m. today (Thursday) and 11 a.m. until service time on Friday at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be 1 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2008 at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers are the employees of the City of Ridgetop. Active pall bearers are Danny Tisdale, Phillip Jones, Tony Reasoner, David Luster, Kenneth Ledbetter and Jack Burns. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their gratitude for the many visits, calls, cards and prayers from all who loved her.
