Marie Penick

PENICK, Marie Alvie age 95, passed away November 22, 2011. She was born on August 26, 1916, in Silver Point, TN in Putnam County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Penick, Jr.; parents, Walter and Sytha Coggins; brother, Jack B. Coggins; sister, Earlene Poole; grandson, Michael Penick; and granddaughter, Sophia Lynn Bara. She is survived by three sons, Buster E. Penick Peggy of Hendersonville, James R. Penick of Oklahoma, and Gary W. Penick Donna of Gallatin, and daughter, Mary Ellen Omohundro Ike of Gallatin; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A Life Celebration Service will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home, with Bro. Chad Penick officiating. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
