Margie Heaney

Ms. Margie A. Heaney, age 80, of Madison, passed away on June 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 5, 1942 to the late Clifford P. and Goldie Marie Adcock. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, John T. Heaney.

Margie was an avid sports fan, and a proud founding season ticket holder for the Tennessee Titans. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; who called her “Grammy.” She worked at the Tennessee State Legislature for over 30 years before retiring in 2022.

Margie is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Grant) Croley and Penny (Bruce) Aderholt; grandchildren, Jason (Ashley) Aderholt, Marie (Gabriel) Dryden, and Shannon (Jared) Covington; and seven great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm, Saturday, June 24th in the chapel of Cole and Garrett in Goodlettsville. Family will receive friends from 12-2pm prior to the service.
