Margaret Mcconnell

McCONNELL, Margaret McClammy 77, went to rest in the arms of her Savior on June 16, 2007. Margaret was born November 8, 1929 in Uriah, Alabama to Wilbur and Hazel Sisemore McClammy. On June 25, 1947, she was united in marriage to Peter Benjamin McConnell, Jr. Benny. Benny worked for the L&N Railroad, and in 1967 they moved to Nashville for his job. Margaret was a member of the Charlotte Road Baptist Church where she served in the choir, then later, the Judson Baptist Church. She was a sales representative for Mary Kaye Cosmetics for many years, as well as being a homemaker and wonderful cook. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and her husband. She is survived by many friends and her loving family of children: Peter B. III Cyndie, Terry Beth, David Sharon McConnell, and Sharon Mike Tuttle; grandchildren: Thomas Rhonda, Joshua, Amanda, Benjamin, Jordan, Sehoy, and Jessica McConnell, and Laura and Corey Rhea; great grandchildren: Matt, Kahlie, and Morgan MCConnell, Jayden Rhea; sisters: Ann A.W. Ferguson, Skippy Cruitt, and Eleanor Donlad Melton; nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Montgomery Hill Methodist Cemetery in Tensaw, AL.
