Margaret Cartwright

CARTWRIGHT, Margaret B, of Goodlettsville, Sunday, January 4, 2009. She was 86. Mrs. Cartwright was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Mark P. Cartwright. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bill Hines; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Prince Cartwright III and Janet; sister, Frances Neely; grandchildren, Lorri L. Steiner, and her husband Jeff, Steven Hines, and Matt Cartwright. Mrs. Cartwright was a member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church and the Goodwill Sunday School Class. The class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Her devotion to her spouse and family was steadfast. She loved to share her beautiful needlework pieces with her loved ones. She also had a very gentle and sincere way of sharing her lifetime of experiences. Her amazing strength and endurance in her last days permitted her to finish the course God set before her. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Barry Davis, Rev. Paul Gardner, and Rev. Rita Hayes, officiating. Visitation at the church one hour prior to service time. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Cartwright, Don Cartwright, Frank Cartwright, Matt Cartwright, Steven Hines, Jeff Steiner, Bill Vecchione, and Bob Wright. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. For those desiring, donations may be made to Connell Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund.
