Mamie Crues Davidson, 91, passed away Tuesday November 2, 2021. Born in Dickson County, February 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Alton Lee Crues and Nonie Aline Sensing Crues. Mamie was also preceded in death by her husband William David Davidson, Sr. Mamie had been a member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church since 1951. She graduated from Charlotte High School with the class of 1949. Primarily a wife, mother and homemaker, she had also worked for several years at the former Acme Drugs. She was a long-time band booster, was active with the Goodlettsville Senior Citizens and loved to travel. She also was an accomplished quilter and had been a long-time participant in the UT Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by her children, Dave Davidson (Berta), Kathy Nelson (Keith), and Dale Davidson; grandchildren, Jenni Smith Moseley (Jason), Scott Davidson (Holly), Mike Smith (Jana), Beth Davidson Lynn (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Kendall, Aaron, Carter, Will, Olivia, and Luke; brothers, Bob Crues and Joseph Crues; and sister, Mae Hicks. Visitation will be held at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Monday from 4-7 pm. An hour of visitation will also be held Tuesday from 1-2 pm at Connell Memorial United Methodist Church, Goodlettsville, followed by a celebration of life service at 2 pm. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, or Connell Memorial United Methodist Church.
