Lucy was a Godly woman and had been a member of Madison Church of Christ. She loved sports, especially baseball, and never missed a game her children participated in. She also had a keen ability to keep score including the statistics of the game. She was a good cook and was "famous" for her biscuits. She enjoyed quilting, cross-stitching, knitting and sewing. She also was an avid reader. A giving person, she had delivered for Meals on Wheels and also had worked with Backfield in Motion as a tutor. Part of the legacy she will leave with her family was how she encouraged them to create memories for their families. There will be a private family graveside service for Lucy at Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville. A public celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
