SKINNER, Louise Howell – Age 91 of Bethpage, formerly of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2012. Ms. Skinner was a soft spoken, stylish, wonderful woman whose love and generosity touched many people, especially her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading, bird watching and spending time with family. She was an avid sports fan, with some of her favorite teams being the Titans, Predators and from back in the old days the Nashville Vols Baseball Team. She was a faith based woman who attended church at Bethpage United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Kenneth J. Skinner; brother, J. Owen Howell. Survived by her children, Ken Skinner Faye and Linda Johnson Johnny; grandchildren, Travis Johnson Dawn, Amy Johnson, Eric Skinner Frankie, Anna Cramer Phillip, Mary Bea Wilson Troy, Rachel Teal, Joel Skinner Amanda & John Karl Skinner; great-grandchildren, Sami, Koy, Kaitlyn, Russell, John Michael, Aselin, Cooper, Jack, Eli, Caroline, Lucy, Alice, Riley, Alex & one on the way, Cash. A Life Celebration will be held 11am Thursday at Crestview Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Potts officiating. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Howell, Mike Howell, Jimmy Alexander & David Skinner. Burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.
