MARLIN, Lorene Heflin 85, Nashville, January 7, 2008. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Marlin; granddaughter, Davina Friedli Fisch; mother, Annie Belle Heflin; father, Walter E. Heflin, Sr.; sisters, Margaret Spurlock and Dorothy Heflin; brother-in-laws, Bill Cunningham and Jesse Spurlock. Survived by daughters, Nancy Chic Morris, Judy David Friedli; son, Jack Brenda Marlin; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jo Cunningham and Glenna Rick Bramble; brother, Elbert W. Heflin, Jr.; sister-in-law, Maureen Spurlock; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 10 am on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives. Honorary pallbearers will be the Crusaders Sunday School Class. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
