Darlyne L. Thomas, 66, of Madison passed away January 21, 2020 at her home. Born August 27, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Spicer) Thomas. Darlyne had been employed as a waitress at Waffle House for 25 years. Her outgoing personality and love for people endeared her to many of her customers there. A free spirit who loved music and reading, Darlyne loved her trips to New Orleans (her second home) and New York City. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother who would remember friends and family alike with cards on most any occasion. She is survived by her son David (Karen) Baker; her grandchildren, Connor Trahan, Courtney Trahan, and Riley Baker; her brothers, Larry Thomas, Gary Thomas, and Kevin Thomas; her sister, Melanie Underhill; and extended family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Friday evening at 6 PM at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in Goodlettsville. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 PM until 6 PM.
