Lois Shoulders

Lois "Big Mama" Brent Shoulders, born April 13, 1919, passed away November 30, 2013 at age 94. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bynum and Elizabeth Biggs Binkley; eight sisters, one brother, husband, J.D. "Driscoll" Brent, Don Shoulders; son-in-law, Roger Smith; grandson, Todd Brent, step-son, David Shoulders. Survived by daughter, Nancy Brent Smith; son, Charles D. Brent (Susan); grandchildren, Lee Smith (Kay), Gina Toole (Dan), Nancy Mofield (Mike), Lyn Smith, Brandy Blanton (Mendell), Chad Brent, Christopher Brent, Cory Brent; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; step-children, Don B. Shoulders (Marilyn), Judy Chidister (Gary), Linda Gallaher (Bob); six step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren. She was a faithful Christian, and member of Millersville Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville Tuesday from 4-8pm. Graveside service will be Wednesday December 4 at 11 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Brother Frank Fox, officiating. Pallbearers will be Paul Mofield, Roger Smith III, Brent Toole, Jim Smith, Shane Toole, Jordan Smith, and Ryan Hawkins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andrew Hagewood Fund, or the Millersville Church of Christ.
