Lois Smith Galloway

Lois Smith Galloway, 74, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, at her home in Portland, Tennessee. Born November 30, 1949, in Woodbury, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Howard Burt Smith and Clarice Davenport Smith.

In her lifetime, Lois found joy in simple pleasures such as gardening, reading, and most of all, spending quality time with her cherished family. Her talent and passion for decorating cakes brought sweetness and delight to many celebrations over the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Brenda Prevette, Roy Smith, and Nina Smith.

Lois will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her loving daughter Tiffany (Terry) Daniels, devoted son Steve (Jen) Galloway, adored granddaughter Hannah Satty, precious great-grandson Cash, supportive sister Margaret Schetter, caring brother James Smith, sister Sharon Smith, and sister Edith Smith. Although she has departed this world, Lois leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

May she rest in peace knowing that she was treasured by many and her memory will be cherished for generations to come.
