Mrs. Lisa Hardy Brooks (1960-2019) went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2019. Lisa is survived by her husband of 31 years, Randi, and their beloved daughters, Calli and Courtney; her loving mother, Dorothy Hardy; her sisters, Linda Scott (Steve) and their sons Andrew and Ryan, all of Goodlettsville; Lori Ho-Tung (George) of Decatur, AL; her sister-in-law, Nickie Kinder (Kelly) and their children Eric, Laura, Alyssa, Andrew & Chad of Knoxville, TN. Lisa was predeceased by her father, James Fred Hardy, father-in-law, William H. Brooks, and mother-in-law, Margaret L. Brooks.
Lisa grew up in Wickliffe, KY where she would meet lifelong friends, spend time at church, lifeguard at the local pool, and meet her husband, Randi. Many fond memories remain for the family in Ballard County on the banks of the Mississippi River.
Lisa attended pharmacy school at the University of Kentucky with her sister, Linda, and after she graduated, she moved to Nashville TN. Pharmacy was a profession she truly loved. She was presently working at Skyline Hospital in Nashville where she would insist that she had the best job in the world, in large part due to the wonderful people she met there.
Lisa was passionate about the relationships in her life. She loved and cared for those around her and took the time to stay connected to her friends, new and old. It is impossible to list all the people that she considered part of her family. In her motherly way, she loved fiercely and there was no doubt that you were one of hers. She was a passionate believer in Jesus Christ, spending many summer weeks building relationships with new believers in Brazil alongside her beloved brothers and sisters in Christ from FBC Goodlettsville. She was generous, always willing to give her time, talents and monies to whatever need arose. She gave so much love and received love in return.
Lisa was absolutely devoted to her husband and daughters. She was a mother who always involved herself in every detail of her girls' lives and supported Randi in all his work. She was so proud of all of them. She loved and cared for her mother who lived on her street. She loved and was loved by her sisters, forever known as the Hardy girls. They love to spend time together with husbands and children traveling in their favorite party of 10. She will be missed beyond imagination by her family until they meet again.
Lisa's passing leaves a huge void in the lives of many. She fought the good fight, and finished the race, she kept the faith.
