Linda Mcconnell

Mrs. Linda Sisco McConnell, age 72, of Hendersonville, passed away May 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 26, 1950 in Madison, TN to the late Grady and Martha Sisco. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Mr. Anthony “Tony” McConnell; brothers, Robert Sisco, Lewis Sisco, and Terry Sisco.

Linda is survived by her children; James Alan (Amy) McConnell, Barry Kay (Tiffany) McConnell, Stacy Lynn (Jacob) Gardner; grandchildren; Alana (Jake) McGuire, Alyssa Heuck, Austin McConnell, Micheala (John) Pentecost, Jada Noelle Gardner, Hope Gambrell, and Faith Gambrell; great grandchildren; Aaliyah River McConnell, Gunner Bleu Heuck, and Violet Ryan McGuire; brothers; Clay Sisco, Billy Sisco, Kenny Sisco; and sister, Nancy Alvis.

Linda is a graduate of White House High School Class of 1968. She worked and then retired from the Sumner County Board of Education, employed at Beech Elementary for over 30 years. She was a caring, wonderful mother and grandmother, incredible seamstress, who enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.

A life celebration will be held at 10am, Saturday, May 20th in the chapel of Cole and Garrett Funeral Home with burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Friday evening and again from 9-10am prior to the service on Saturday.
