Linda Brown

BROWN, Linda Cheryl Thomason - of Nashville, TN on June 14th of complications from breast cancer. Formerly of San Francisco and Washington, DC, Linda was born on July 5, 1951 in Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Elizabeth Roberts Thomason and William Olin Thomason. She is survived by her husband Dan, her step-mother Carol Ann Thomason, parents-in-law Dude and Kay Brown, and a host of relatives. Linda graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1969, attended the University of Vienna, Austria, received her BA from Vanderbilt University in 1973 and an MBA in Strategic Planning from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989. She was employed by Management Resource Group as the Vice-President of Strategic Planning Services. She was Hospitality Chair for l'Ete du Vin, the Nashville Wine Auction to benefit cancer charities, and Team Development Chair for the Nashville Relay for Life of the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held Sunday June 17 1-3PM, followed by a service of celebration for Linda at 3PM at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, officiated by her uncle Dr. John H. Jeffers.
