Linda Forehand Anderson, age 74, of Madison, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014.
Linda was an avid sports fan and known as baseball's "First Lady". She thoroughly enjoyed going to her sons Lipscomb baseball games and watching her grandchildren play baseball and volleyball. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was the best dancer in three counties. She was a long time Metro school teacher with Isaac Litton Middle School and was a long time member of Madison Church of Christ. Linda loved the Lord with all her heart and taught her children and grandchildren to do the same. She helped teach the "Little Angels" and delivered Meals on Wheels for ten years with the church.
Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Lee Forehand, Jr.; her parents, Leonard and Sue Smotherman Reeves; and a brother, Larry Reeves.
She is survived by her husband, David Anderson; son, Jeff Forehand (Karen); daughter, Leigh Mundy (Justin); grandchildren, Gant Forehand, Reeves Parrish, Brooks Forehand, Graham Parrish, and Tucker Mundy.
The family will receive friends from 2-6pm Sunday and again from 9-10am Monday at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Monday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bruce White officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
