Levering Islaub, Jr.

Levering Fred Islaub, Jr. Age 65 passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. He was survived by his sister, Debi (Jerry) Mann; brother, Charlie (Amy) Islaub, sisters, Margaret Mack, Emily Shettlesworth; niece, Stephanie (Larry) Musgrave and their children, Zach, Briana and Nate Musgrave, niece, Nichole (Tim) Davis. Brian and Carla Thompson of Lafayette, TN invited Fred into their home ten years ago. Brian and Fred hunted, fished, went to wrestling matches, and Fred loved their four children, Briley, Destiny, Devon and Bryson. They spent many summers on vacation, sitting around a bonfire and riding ATV's. Fred lived life to its fullest. He loved to play basketball, bowl, dance and eat hamburgers, French fries and cokes. He had accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized in spite of his fear of water. Heaven is a happier place with Fred there. A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home with Larry Courtright officiating. Visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service. Memorial donations in Fred's name may be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036-3604.
