Leslie Cooke

COOKE, Leslie Joyce, age 63 of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Sumner Regional Medical Center after a short, hard fought battle with cancer. Born March 30, 1944 to the late John Fredrick and Ada Oliver of Nashville, TN. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Norman R. Cooke, Sr., of Hendersonville, TN, daughters; Laura Nelson, and Jenni Hicks-Griffin, sons; Reece Cooke, and Stephen Cooke, brother, John F. Suzie Oliver, III, of Addison, TX, sister, Pat Ed Mercer, of Atlanta, GA, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. She was employed by the Hendersonville Medical Center Laboratory Department for 27 years. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with her brother-in-law, Lewis Cooke officiating. Active pallbearers will be sons, grandsons, and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Hendersonville Medical Center Laboratory Department. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
