Leora T. Cox

Leora T. Cox, age 91 of Gallatin, passed away on Monday, March 01, 2010. A native of Mart, Texas, she was born to the late Lemuel and Sally Thompson Tucker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Cox; daughters, Katherine Dean, Carolyn Wilson; son, Robert Hulsey; brothers, Herbert Tucker, Preston Tucker, and a sister, Jessie B. Robins. She is survived by her daughters, Anita F. Jones Robert of Gallatin, Eva Brogan Bernie of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Nolan Tucker Ovalene of Orange, TX; sister, Dorothy Brown of Kilgore, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at the chapel of Gallatin Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Fesler officiating. Interment will follow at the Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery where her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
