Lena Maddux

MADDUX, Lena Warren. , age 95, Passed away to peace on March 7, 2006. Preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Charles R. Warren, Sr., her husband of 59 years Ford R. Maddux, sister Veronica Warren Caudill and great granddaughter Ansley Ford Batey. Survived by son Drew R. Maddux, Sr. Judy, grandchildren Lee Ann Maddux Batey Roger and Ric Maddux Debi, great grandchildren Brooke Gilliam Dave, Parker Batey Bonnie, Sloane Maddux and Lila Batey, sisters Elizabeth Mannsell and Marion Harvey and brother Charles Ross Warren, Jr. She was a long time member of the Inglewood Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday school classes and First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. She was an active member of the Inglewood Garden Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Nashville Memorial Hospital. The Maddux family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers, who have been angles for five years, Jean Sims, Betty Sue Cole, Gayla Loftis, Nancy Love, Susie Webb, Irene Bratten, also Caregivers, Inc. and Alive Hospice. Visitation with family will be on Wednesday, March 8, from 6pm til 9pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 10:30am at Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Richard Gaia officiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alive Hospice; 1718 Patterson Street; Nashville, TN 37203.
